Kristjan was the Chief Inspector of the Reykjavik police and father of Yrsa Kristjansdottir.
Every New Year's Eve he would read to Yrsa from a book about trolls and hidden folk. He believed in their existence and tried to convince Yrsa of this, but she would never believe him.
He was killed by Sigdor for getting too close to discovering the truth about Hellion and his death greatly affected his daughter. (AUDIO: The Hunting Ground)
