A press briefing room existed inside the White House.
The room contained a podium, decorated with the seal of the President of the United States, where the President would give an address from. Two American flags were positioned at each side of the podium.
History[[edit] | [edit source]]
In circa 2009,[nb 1] US President Barack Obama gave a speech to the press in the room regarding his plan for the recession. AMNN broadcast Obama's speech from the room live on television. Following the creation of the "Master Race", Obama and every other human on the planet took the form of the Saxon Master, who subsequently declared the financial solution "deleted". He was applauded by the press in the room, having also taken the form of the Master. (TV: The End of Time (part one) [+]Loading...{"part":"one","1":"The End of Time (TV story)"})
Obama, in the form of the Master, remained in this room during a call with the Master at the Naismith mansion, where he used his authority as President of the United States to transfer the United Nations protocols to him.
When Rassilon restored the human race, Obama was still standing at the podium in the press briefing room. (TV: The End of Time (part two) [+]Loading...{"part":"two","1":"The End of Time (TV story)"})
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Although the press briefing room is not named in The End of Time [+]Loading...["The End of Time (TV story)"], merely being identified as a room within the White House, it is based on the real world James S. Brady Press Briefing Room. The recreation seen in the television story is not exact, with some notable differences, particularly that of the press section as seen from the front podium.
