Jane Flora was a biologist hired by the Svarozhich Project to investigate the strange cockroaches and slime mould infesting the site. She welcomed the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan Jovanka when they arrived at the site by accident. (PROSE: Men of the Earth)
