Jodi Boyd worked for Tegan Jovanka. Although they did not get along well, she organised Tegan's 46th birthday party on 22 September 2006. When Tegan was kidnapped by Katherine Chambers, she came up with a plan to get in Chambers' Pharmaceuticals and distract James Clarke so the Fifth Doctor and Michael Tanaka could save Tegan.
