Mr Johnson was Lucy Wilson and Hobo Kostinen's schoolteacher at Ogmore-by-Sea.

Lucy knew Mr Johnson as a stern, sensible, unadventurous man, whose maths lesson she found extremely dull. At some point, Johnson was abducted to parts unknown and replaced by the Cyber Teacher Mr Johnson, a robotic superhuman duplicate of himself who proved a much more enthusiastic and compelling lecturer.
