Jonos
Jonos was a lavender haired Koturian, like his father.
Jonos had been in the late stages of a Phasing, which his family had begun to fear would never happen. He was engaged to a woman he knew as Lania, a non-Koturian woman. He was deeply in love with her, but when he attempted to Phase upon the Imori stone in the Flamingo chapel, he was shocked to discover that the process failed. It was revealed that his fiancée was actually the the Rani, who was using him in an attempt to gain control over her physical appearance upon regeneration. The reason he was unable to Phase was because both the bride and groom had to be in love with one another, even if they were not both Koturian, and the Rani was not in love with Jonos.
