Jorge Luis Borges

He wrote the novel O Time Your Pyramids, which was subsequently lost; though the Infinity Doctor thought he owned the only surviving copy, he found one in the Librarinth on the Needle. Diego Rivera allowed Borges to read the Rivera Manuscript, which he compared unfavourably to the Saragossa manuscript. (PROSE: "War Predictions" [+]Part of The Book of the War, Loading...{"namedep":"War Predictions","1":"The Book of the War (novel)"})

When rattling off frivolous theories about the possible origins of the Library, which it would later describe as "not quite the Library of Babel, but it's home", the Bookwyrm proposed that the Library might have been "conceived by the ghost of Jorge Luis Broges". Another account, however, held that Borges was a journalist who discovered an ancient civilisation who believed that objects ceased to be real when they were no longer observed.
