Kaplan
The Kaplan was the imperial leader of the Astra Space Empire in 2065.

The Kaplan had supreme authority over the Main Fleet and over the fate of prisoners of war. As a mark of elevated status, the Kaplan got about by means of a purple hover-disc with gold trimmings, instead of the smaller, silver discs used by ordinary Astrans. Placed directly under the authority of the Kaplan, who had their own room in the large building at the centre of the capital city of the Empire (Kapland), was the Kaplan Minus. In 2065, the Kaplan was an orange Astran who readily agreed to peace talks with Earth to bring a swift end to the Space War, (COMIC: Colonel Zodiac Disappears) prompting their assassination. (COMIC: The Amaryll Challenge)
