Kenneth Ives (26 March 1934[1]-6 March 2022[2]) played Toba in the Doctor Who television story The Dominators.

After a reasonably successful acting career in the 1950s and 1960s, he started directing about 1972 and remained behind the camera for the rest of his working life. Of perhaps greatest interest to Doctor Who fans was his direction of several early episodes of All Creatures Great and Small on which he worked with production unit manager John Nathan-Turner, actors Peter Davison, Pamela Salem, Fiona Walker, Mary Wimbush and Colin Fay and writers Johnny Byrne and Brian Finch.
