Kirsty Musgrave was a former UNIT medic. She later worked as an accident and emergency doctor. She was called upon by UNIT to house Shana Siddiqui at short notice. When the Wirrn escaped, she had to help with the infection they brought. (AUDIO: Hosts of the Wirrn)
