Dr Kory was a scientist employed by the Marine Rescue Brigade on Earth in the 40th century. When Pete Nesbit and Hal discovered giant mutated sea creatures off the coast of Spain, he theorised that the H-bomb which had been lost in the area two thousand years earlier was responsible. When it was discovered that the creatures were growing limbs, Kory theorised that they were evolving into land creatures and were preparing for a land invasion. (COMIC: The Sea Monsters)
