Krisztina Prain
Krisztina Prain, sometimes called Krista by those close to her, was the Princess of Galen on Világ.
She and Marcus Reid knew each other since they were young, and were in love with each other. However, Krisztina was to be married to Prince Viktor of Malendia, which was supposed to usher in the Kingdom Alliance and stop the war between the two countries. This initially led her to feel that any relationship between her and Marcus would be impossible.
She met Evelyn Smythe in her gardens, helping her when she fainted. After the Sixth Doctor changed history by convincing Reid to try to stay in a relationship with Krista and Reid convinced Krista in turn, the Doctor and Evelyn helped establish a secret correspondence between the two lovers, carrying letters and arranging for Reid to be part of the palace guard. To facilitate this, Krisztina made the Doctor her advisor.
After the secret relationship was revealed by Plenipotentiary Suskind and the Doctor was arrested for conspiracy, Krisztina broke him out. Together with Reid they successfully defended the palace against the Killoran attack; however, Reid died in her arms, and shortly after Krisztina herself was shot by Pokol in a fit of rage.
