Lanslot Webbe
Lanslot Webbe was Romolo Nusek's Head of Internal Security.

Lanslot Webbe lived on Tharn and joined the armed forces during Coplan Nusek's rule. Whilst his parents left for the outer rim to find work and his brother became rich as a trader on Xanta, Webbe rose through the ranks and remained silent when Romolo Nusek succeeded his father and reinstituted central rule. He became Nusek's Head of Internal Security.
Webbe was not proud of the work he had to do, although he was proud of the efficiency with which he did it, nor did he like Mastrov. He gave Bernice Summerfield, Nicholas Clyde and Mappin Gilder a tour of the Castle of Ice and Fire before they headed to Stanturus Three as part of Mastrov's scheme to fake evidence of Hugo Gamaliel's presence there to give Nusek a claim on the planet. Once they had left, he discovered that Benny and Nicholas had broken into the archives and was against Mastrov being sent to kill one of them. He investigated the explosion that killed several archaeologists and withdrew those remaining following the discovery of the Gamalian Dragon.
Webbe took part in the Stanturan Inquiry on Talisman Station, occasionally asking questions of the witnesses, and refuted Nicholas's lie that it was one of Nusek's gunships that caused the explosion. He advised against firing a missile at Irving Braxiatel's ship when he fled with Benny and Nicholas following Nusek's humiliation and instead captured it, taking them to Tharn but refusing to be present for their execution.
