Lee was from Croydon.
Just after Christmas 2004, Lee encountered the Ninth Doctor in London, where he was looking up at Big Ben and violently laughing. He told Lee that he should "make the most of it while you can", and Lee hurried off, believing the Doctor to be drunk.
In March 2005, Lee wrote about his encounter with the Doctor on the conspiracy website Doctor Who?, and he began to wonder about the Doctor. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
