Lee was a member of the Tong of the Black Scorpion in London in 1889.

Lee acted as Li H'sen Chang's assistant during his performances at the Palace Theatre.
After Chang's death, Lee and the some of other members of the Tong were tasked with moving Magnus Greel's equipment from the theatre to the House of the Dragon.
Lee was tasked with taking the bag containing the trionic lattice out to Greel's carriage, but he forgot to do so and the bag was left behind. When he returned to the House of the Dragon, Greel singled out Lee to pay for this, and had Lee ingest a capsule of scorpion venom, which killed him nearly instantly. (TV: The Talons of Weng-Chiang)
