Lethean Campaign assassin

During the twelfth year of the War in Heaven, a mysterious assassin infiltrated the timeship where the House Military was keeping the three lobotomised renegades whose minds were being used for the babels committing atrocities in the Lethean Campaign. After outwitting the guards and security systems, the assassin killed the renegades. The babels were left defenseless and were slaughtered by the enemy.
The Book of the War recounted that, while some had speculated that the assassin was working for the enemy or Faction Paradox, the most persistent rumour was that they were another renegade, providing their associates or rivals with mercy killings. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
