Locklear was the captain of the Godspeed. Her ship was attacked by space barnacles that fed on its energy. She ordered Keinholz to fire the plasma cannons at them, but they only made the creatures multiply. The Ninth Doctor arrived onboard, but he only agreed to help Locklear if she agreed to leave the barnacles alone. The Doctor and Locklear went to the TARDIS and materialised outside the Godspeed. The Doctor used the light on the TARDIS to attract the barnacles away from the Godspeed, and then moved them to a nearby asteroid belt. Then, he returned Locklear to her ship.
