Long Lost Family

By December 2023, Davina McCall was the presenter of a television series wherein they attempted to reunite "foundlings" with their families. The series attempted to use a given by individual's DNA sample to search for their genetic heritage across a database.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

On 1 December 2023, Ruby Sunday was invited onto the series, and, during filming, Davina McCall told her about the process and how it wasn't guaranteed to work and Ruby told her about her adoptive family and her life, (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]) such as living through the pandemic, the recession and the Giggle. (PROSE: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (novelisation)"])

However, the filming was cut short when a heavy studio light nearly fell on Ruby and an electrical plug ricocheted against the back of Davina's head, as the Goblins began to weave bad luck into Ruby's life, having sensed the chance of coincidence surrounding her and her soon-to-be foster sister Lulubelle.

On Christmas Eve 2023, after Lulubelle was brought to the Sundays' home, Ruby received a call from Davina, who told her that there were no matches to her DNA on the database, and thus there was no more research they could do. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Although unnamed in The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"], the television series that Davina presents is presumably intended to be Long Lost Family, a real programme which the real Davina McCall also presents.
