On 2 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - Pre-filming for The Celestial Toymaker began at Ealing Studios. (TCH 7)
- 1968 - Episode two of Fury from the Deep was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 12)
- 2006 - DWM 367 (cover dated 29 March) announced a series of short prequels for each episode of Doctor Who series 2. These were known as "Vortext" in DWM, but by the end of March, the name was changed to "Tardisodes". (DWMSE 14)
- 2011 - The Big Finish audio story The Doomsday Quatrain took place at the Moat Studios.
- 2017
- The second series of Big Finish's audio series The Churchill Years was recorded.
- The release date of the second box set of Classic Doctors, New Monsters was confirmed.
- 2020 - Big Finish's audio anthology The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Four was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2022 - Big Finish's Master! audio anthology Nemesis Express was recorded.
