Marco Phillips was a San Francisco police lieutenant who said to the San Francisco Chronicle on 14 February 1968 about the marks of the Revolution Man, "This is just another in a series of acts of vandalism designed to promote the activities of drug-takers and draft-dodgers. I have no time for these people. They have done thousands of dollars worth of damage to City property and they will be arrested." (PROSE: Revolution Man)
