Marcus was a UNIT technology specialist situated at the Well. He was stung by a Wirrn and had eggs implanted into him. He didn't die when the larvae hatched. Shana Siddiqui suggested that he was being used as a puppet. The Wirrn used his knowledge to disable the base. (AUDIO: Hosts of the Wirrn)
