Martian cylinder

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

In either 1894 (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme) or the early 20th century, when Earth was invaded by the Martians (COMIC: War of the Worlds) or another version of the Martians, (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme) sometimes called Meercocks, (PROSE: Verdigris) the invaders used "Martian cylinders" as their spaceships. (COMIC: War of the Worlds, PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

By an account that claimed that the invasion took place in an alternate reality in 1894, Iris Wildthyme, Panda, Simon, and Kelly witnessed one Martian cylinder land at the foot of the hill that the Moulin Rouge was built upon in Montmartre, Paris. Its impact created a large crater. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)

According to another account, the invasion took place in the Doctor's universe in the early 20th century. The first Martian cylinder landed in Horsell Common, in England. (COMIC: War of the Worlds)
