Minehead was a coastal town in south-west England.

Minehead was located on the south bank the Bristol Channel, close to the area of water known as Bridgewater Bay. It was at the far north-east edge of Exmoor National Park. Local small towns and villages included Dunster to the south-east and Porlock to the west. Link roads running through Minehead included the A39. Donna Noble said that she had visited Butlins Minehead twice. (COMIC: The Widow's Curse)

Dorice had been excited to take a trip to Minehead with Harry via ferry from Cardiff International Ferryport, but thought that a recent ferry crash might put an end to it.
