Nikki Wilson, also credited as Nikki Smith, was first credited on Doctor Who as a script editor. As her association evolved, she became a longstanding producer for the franchise, first on the second and third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures and the Doctor Who story The Waters of Mars and teaser sequence to The Eleventh Hour, (WC: Doctor Who Video Explorer) and later during the eighth through tenth series of Who. Having served as executive producer for series 4 and 5 of Adventures alongside Russell T Davies, she similarly graduated to the role of series producer for series 11 and 12 of Who, and was again promoted, to the position of co-executive producer, during series 13.

She also voiced a computer in the episode Sleep No More[1].
