Nosferatu was a famous black-and-white horror film about a rat-like, bald vampire. (PROSE: Vampire Science) It was a German classic, in the expressionist style. Other characters in the film included a man who found Orlok in his coffin in a crypt, a sailor scared by Orlok aboard a sailing ship, and a woman haunted in her sleep by the vampire's shadow. After a reel of the movie, kept in a private collection, was infected by a mysterious pink slime leaking through from Ecto-Space, a Living Fiction entity took root in this particular reel, manifesting as a tangible version of the main antagonist. Passing from owner to owner as the "haunted" reel killed whoever watched it, it eventually made its way to P.R.O.B.E. in March 2021. They were able to triumph over the entity by exposing the reel to sunlight, as this was the vampire's weakness inside the fictional narrative. With the entity destroyed, P.R.O.B.E. were able to dispose of the tainted reel. (HOMEVID: Living Fiction)
