The Now (species) was a pan-dimensional parasitic race capable of influencing the Time Lords. They didn't like the passage of time. Their influence caused the Time Lords to regenerate over and over until death. They were fixated by entropy. The Unbound Doctor caused them to be eliminated but Narvin activated the solution.[statement unclear] (AUDIO: Gallifrey)
