The Dynamics of an Asteroid, (PROSE: The Death of Art) also called On the Dynamics of the Asteroid, (PROSE: The Book of the Enemy) was a text by Professor James Moriarty (PROSE: The Death of Art, The Book of the Enemy) in which he first proposed his theory of relativity based on his observations of asteroidal dynamics. Moriarty disappeared shortly after the book was published, (PROSE: The Death of Art) and his theory would not become widely accepted until three decades later. (PROSE: The Book of the Enemy)
Sherlock Holmes speculated to Tom that Moriarty's book might have changed the nature of reality such that it no longer followed Euclidean geometry. Shortly thereafter, Holmes was erased from history.
