Parkes

Parkes was a country town in New South Wales, Australia. According to Chick Peters' father, it and Forbes were exactly eleven miles apart. When Chick was a child, his family would stay at a caravan park at one of these two towns (he could not remember which), and would drive from one town to the other, stopping in Orange. Though it's possible that a real world location doesn't exist in the same geographic space in the Doctor Who universe, such cases are few and far between. Thus, the map to the right is probably a good indicator of the DWU location of Parkes.
