With only a dome present, this planet had been reduced to a wasteland caused by the phantoms which had been left by the "warlock" which had resided on the planet stealing beings' bodies in a process to live longer.
The wastelands were intimidating places, almost overpowering Jo Grant. It was completely quiet within the wastelands, with only the sound of people's footsteps on the ground.
Following a visit by the Third Doctor and Jo Grant the creature was defeated and killed, the Doctor hoping as they departed that the planet would recover. (PROSE: Revenge of the Phantoms [+]Loading...["Revenge of the Phantoms (short story)"])
