History[[edit] | [edit source]]
Graham O'Brien was keen to watch Pointless. (PROSE: The Good Doctor [+]Loading...["The Good Doctor (novel)"]) Jack Harkness stated, perhaps jokingly, that Pointless was on when he suggested that the Sixth Doctor watch television as he recovered from regenerative collapse within his TARDIS. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Pointless is a British gameshow hosted by Alexander Armstrong. A Doctor Who edition of Pointless Celebrities, in which past Doctor Who actors took part, aired in 2013.
In addition to the Doctor Who special, Pointless Celebrities has featured numerous other contestants relevant to the DWU, including Sixth Doctor actor Colin Baker.
Graham O'Brien being a fan of the show could be seen as ironic, as Bradley Walsh, who plays Graham, is the host of fierce-rival gameshow The Chase, which is typically broadcast on weekday evenings opposite Pointless on BBC One's rival network, ITV.
