Prodigal was an advanced Auton who worked with the Tremas Master. She used Tegan Jovanka as a hostage to get Janet Wharry to do her bidding. She was able to detect that Tegan and Vislor Turlough had travelled in time. Turlough thought that her alliance with the Master was uneasy. She had split off from the main part of the Nestene Consiousness to find the First Conciousness from their creation myth. Her splitting off was due to Borusa taking her into the Death Zone. She helped to stop the vortex driller from destroying the vortex. (AUDIO: The Auton Infinity)
