Pulse rifle
Pulse rifles were a type of gun, out of place on 21st century Earth.
Pulse rifles using fusion power derived from Cobalt Blue were used by the Sontarans. After spending nearly a century stranded on Earth, Commander Brak managed to build himself a C12 pulse rifle in secret and concealed it on his person; he used it to attack a Sontaran envoy who had denied him an honourable execution, goading the other Sontaran into delivering a killing shot with his own rifle.
