Putti were cherub-like creatures on the planet Sheol.
A group of putti led Peri to her death so that she could see the angel Yy and convince him to finish his work. Once she had convinced him, the putti gave her back her life. When Yy's job was finished, the putti took him back to Heaven. (PROSE: The Ruins of Heaven)
