Quenel was a Sorvix and Madrigal's best friend. After speaking out about Madrigal's betrothal to Osian, Ro-Jedda had her committed to the Sorvix rehabilitation clinic where she was put into hibernation.
On her hen night, Madrigal, with help from St John Colchester and Ng, freed her. They went to a hospital for drugs before fleeing from Ro-Jedda's security detail. Quenel tried to talk Madrigal out of the wedding and convince her to join her in travelling Earth, but Madrigal, manipulated by Mr Colchester, chose to go through with it.
