History

During Red Nose Day 1991, after Master Splinter reminded the Teenage Mutant Ninja (or Hero) Turtles that there was more to life than weapons and pizza, Donatello misinterpreted this, asking Raphael for his sai daggers and slashing at a pizza, splatting red sauce onto his fellow turtles' "noses". After Michelangelo licked his off, the turtles decided to continue using their weapons for this purpose, with Raphael using his sai saggers.
