The Teenage Mutant Ninja (or Hero) Turtles were a group of mutant turtles who lived in a lair, where they were led by Master Splinter.

Led by the mutant rat Master Splinter, the main group of turtles consisted of Raphael, who wore a red mask, Leonardo, who wore a blue mask, Michelangelo, who wore an orange mask, and Donatello, who wore a purple mask. The group were together in their lair during Red Nose Day 1991. For the event, Master Splinter stated they needed to play their part in the charitable occasion, showing them that after years of study, he could turn his nose red. The turtles themselves asked how they could do it, as they didn't even have green noses, leading Splinter to remind them that there was more to life than weapons and pizzas.
Misinterpreting this, Donatello asked for Raphael's sai daggers, and slashed at a pizza, splatting red sauce onto his fellow turtles' "noses", although Michelangelo licked his off, meaning they would need to do it again. They continued to slash at pizzas as Splinter reflected that he had intended to tell them to each go out and buy official Comic Relief noses, but decided to just watch the rest of the show.
