Real-time analogue
With respect to the fact that Homeworlds actually existed outside the timeline of the Spiral Politic, The Book of the War used the term "real-time analogue" to describe the equivalent historical location of a Homeworld within the normal universe.
Once the Cloneworld Project began, pre-existing planets were crypto-formed to create new "cloneworlds". This meant these new Homeworlds were linked to their former locations in history, by their "real-time analogue". However, these real-time analogues were known to be movable, as The Book of the War speculated that the original Homeworld may have been moved from its original coordinates to decieve The Enemy, although it made sure to point out that, under normal cirumstances, - which the "Nine Homeworlds" Project certainly wasn't - the relocation of a world set in the dead centre of history would likely have catastrophic impacts on the Spiral Politic.
