A Salford cat commonly referred to as simply "the" Salford Cat welcomed Iris Wildthyme and Panda to Wonderland. Iris and Panda briefly mistook him for a Cheshire cat, but although he could make part of his body vanish like a Cheshire cat, he did not grin. (AUDIO: The Land of Wonder)

The Salford Cat also appeared in The Brenda and Effie Mysteries's Conjugal Rites, here he was revealed to be "Harry the Cat, from Salford". Harold the Cat also appeared in The Woman in a Black Beehive.
