Let's not forget that he is the direct cause of [[John Leekey]]'s script not being made, since Spielberg ''directly'' intervened and asked Segal to fire Leekey. Spielberg was also the one who actually held the rights, so it was Spielberg who had to agree to let Segal take ''Doctor Who'' with him when Segal left Amblin'. Point is, the 1996 movie would not have been made without Spielberg, so he does deserve an article here.
