:::From what I can remember, Jask didn't betray the Doctor. He locked him and Saranna in the furnace to keep up the subterfuge. He and the Doctor had planned that, so the TARDIS could materialise around the Doctor and Saranna at the same time. Jask wanted to keep up appearances so the other Sontarans wouldn't turn on him, and so he could give his testimony. ::::I was listening to the story again while writing this. Sarana did not betray the Doctor. All she did was grow a bit of prejudice towards the Doctor because he was a Time Lord (similar to what [[Cass (The Night of the Doctor)|Cass]] did). At no moment Jask bothered to check if the Doctor and Sarana were even alive after sent them to the furnace. They had already done what they could to discredit Stipe and Stenk. Jask had no more reasons to care about the Doctor, and that's what he did: he simply stopped caring about him.
