I was thinking that the Time War flashback scenes in the 50th special (assuming there are some, which I am) could be a good opportunity to feature previous characters, given its place in the mythology of the show. They couldn't necessarily have a major role in it, but could still appear. For example, Derek Jacobi could appear as the Master during a scene set by the Cruciform, and Timothy Dalton could reprise Rassilon. Plus, we could have Colin Baker as Maxil, not the Doctor. Some of the general audiences might not know who that is, but he wouldn't be important to the plot, so it wouldn't matter. Of course, McGann could also be thrown in there as well. I know Moffat's only including elements if there's a place for them in the narrative, (or at least he says that), but surely if we're seeing the Time War, it's always possible. But the question is: should it happen, and might it happen? [[User:Gallifrey102|Gallifrey102]] [[User talk:Gallifrey102|☎]] 11:08, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
