He delibrately got Benny drunk to find out why she didn't like Veronica. Benny accused Brax that he was collecting Veronica for the collection. He then banished Benny for this view. He had travelled back in time and found an ascetic to transform him into an amber-coloured crystal, known as the Stone of Barter, in which form he remained for around 3000 years.
