He lost [[Narvin's TARDIS|his TARDIS]] along the way though. He let the Doctor and Ace out using [[Narvin's sonic screwdriver|his own sonic screwdriver]]. This was when he met Ace for the first time. The trio arrived to find Mel working with Dogbolter. [[Hob]] activated the engine, to which the three vanished into a new timeline.
