They were given the task of creating temporal weapons to use against the [[Time Lord]]s during the [[Last Great Time War]]. As the [[War Doctor]] pointed out, however, they were less of a [[circle]] when they met up and more of a [[hexagon]].

They created the [[Temporal Cannon]] on [[Moldox]] for that aim and the [[Predator Dalek]], in a plan to create a weapon using the Doctor. They were [[Battle for the Tantalus Eye|destroyed]] by [[Borusa]] when the Doctor told him to wipe out all traces of the Dalek activity in the [[Tantalus Spiral]].
