Should pages such as this and other unproduced stories that have articles be given the invalid sources template? I think they should as they break rule 3 of T:VS. This is noted at the top of their pages but in my opinion it should be made more obvious. ::No. An unprod story has completely different implication from an invalid one. An invalid source is, well, an "invalid source": it can be used as a source for in-universe pages also bearing the invalid tag. For example, the "Crayola" Doctor.
::In contrast, unproduced stories are not covered outside of their single overview pages. Characters or locations exclusive to unproduced stories do not get pages, albeit ones tagged as invalid. For example, The Last Regenerations Doctor doesn't get a page of his own.
::And honestly, I don't think the current situation is confusing. The "Unproduced" header is, if anything, more conspicuous than the garden-variety "Invalid" tag. It's big and red and loudly proclaims that the contents of the page "are not a part of the Doctor Who universe as we, on this Wiki, choose to define it".
