All of them are caught in a timeless existence (with the ship's clocks forever reading 7:17), bored and seeking a release. Kroton offers to help them and reactivates the robot pilot to take them to a nearby planet and breaking the time warp. Unfortunately they had been trapped 628 years and rapidly age to death.
