Jenny became good friends with [[Martha Jones]], who became a maid to look after the [[Tenth Doctor]], who had gone into hiding as a human. Jenny was one of the few that treated Martha in a friendly and equal way and found her modern attitude, or "notions", amusing.

Whilst riding her bicycle to work one day, Jenny was captured by the [[Family of Blood]] and her mind was consumed by [[Mother of Mine]] so she could possess Jenny's body, essentially killing her. Martha was greatly saddened by her friend's fate, but the Doctor did manage to exact a bit of justice for Jenny by trapping her murderer in an event horizon for all eternity.
