:A red link be it an image or a link indicates the file (or page) doesn't exist such as [[2010 Doctor Who Christmas special]] doesn't exist. In the case of a file it's either a mis-typed file name or something that's not been uploaded. You can click the redlinked file which should take you straight to the upload page and allow you to upload the file (the file will upload to the name of the file that is redlinked.
