I agree with most (albeit not all) of the renames proposed by the OP and other commenters above. That said, I have two comments and one question. | |||
* Firstly, there are already several instances where honourifics are used for disambiguation: see [[Mr Smith]] and [[King Arthur]]. Using this existing precedent alone would be sufficient to rename [[Waites (John Smith and the Common Men)]] to [[Mr Waites]], and perhaps a few of the others as well. To the extent that this precedent isn't reflected on [[T:HONOUR]], that's something the admins can rectify with the power of [[Forum:Temporary forums/T:BOUND Reform|T:BOUND reform]]; to the extent that this precedent might be applied to any of the examples listed in the OP, that seems like something best discussed on the individual talk pages, where there's more space to weigh the evidence in each case. | |||
