While it's true that the ''It{{'}}s Showtime'' campaign as a whole did have the license to use Shrek (as evidenced by that one channel ID in which he physically appears), I don't know if it counts as being utilised here, since his appearance is only implied from off screen. It's not like, say, ''The Princess and the Frog'', where the crossover doesn't become truly official until Naveen's physical cameo at the end.
